The terms of use presented below (hereinafter the TERMS OF USE) constitute the agreement between INSTITUTO TECNOLÓGICO Y DE ESTUDIOS SUPERIORES DE MONTERREY (hereinafter TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY) and any user of the SITE whose electronic address is: www .oer-steam.world (hereinafter the SITE).

The use of the SITE by any person attributes the quality of user (hereinafter the USER) and this implies their full and unconditional adherence to these TERMS OF USE; consequently, it is essential that the USER read them beforehand and evaluate them carefully, in such a way that he is aware that he is subject to them and to the modifications they may suffer, each time he accesses the SITE.

If at any time the USER does not fully or partially agree with these TERMS OF USE, they must immediately refrain from using the SITE in any of its parts or sections.

Use of the site, of the contents and of the contents under the exclusive responsibility of the user

By the mere fact of accessing the SITE, the USER acknowledges and accepts that the use of the same and of the CONTENTS, is under his exclusive and strict responsibility, for which TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY will not be at any time and under any circumstances, responsible for any malfunction or problem that may arise in the computer equipment (hardware) or computer programs (software) used by the USER to access or navigate in any part of the SITE.

Exclusion of guarantees and responsibilities

Exclusion of Guarantees and Responsibility for the Operation of the SITE and the CONTENTS, viruses and other harmful elements. Being a private, non-profit, independent institution, free from political and religious partisanship, TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY does not allow the publication of content that contravenes this nature and reserves the right to agree to publish or suggest sites, subsites or material outside the SITE and TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY that it considers of interest to USERS. In case of doing so, TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY is not responsible in any way for said sites and materials, as well as for the access or use by the USER of the same.

In the same way, any site and/or subsite on the Internet, outside the SITE, may have a link (link, hyperlink, "link") to the SITE or CONTENTS with or without authorization from TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY. Therefore, TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY is not responsible for the origin, uses and destinations of said links. Duration and termination

The USER must only follow instructions given by EL TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY.

Liability for damages and detriments

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in the event that TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY is sanctioned or convicted by the competent authority in any procedure related to civil, criminal, administrative or any other type of liability, it will notify the responsible USER, who must pay TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY the amount it has been ordered to cover, as well as the costs, fees and other expenses incurred, within 15 calendar days following the notification. In the event of delay in payment within the indicated period, THE USER undertakes to pay TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY as a conventional penalty, an amount equivalent to the principal amount.

Personal data

​

In order to use or enjoy some of the CONTENT, it is necessary for the USER to previously provide TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY with certain personal data (hereinafter PERSONAL DATA) that TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY may manage automatically or not. The USER, by accessing the SITE or any of the CONTENTS in which PERSONAL DATA is required, is authorizing TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY to carry out analyzes and studies based on them.

The USER undertakes to provide true and reliable PERSONAL DATA, and in case he wishes not to provide them in the parts of the SITE that are requested, he must refrain from using that or those parts or sections of the SITE. TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY authorizes the USER to use the SITE exclusively under the TERMS AND CONDITIONS expressed herein, without this implying that it grants the USER any license or authorization or any type of right other than the aforementioned use with respect to the "Intellectual Property" of the TECHNOLOGY OF MONTERREY. Understanding as "Intellectual Property" all trademarks registered and/or used in Mexico or abroad by TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY, as well as all rights over inventions (patented or not), industrial designs, utility models, confidential information, trade names , commercial notices, reservations of rights, domain names, as well as all kinds of property rights over works and creations protected by copyright and other forms of industrial or intellectual property recognized or recognized by the corresponding laws.

Other provisions

Shape. The USER accepts that a printed version of these TERMS AND CONDITIONS, and of any communication sent and/or received electronically, will be admissible as evidence in any judicial and/or administrative proceeding.

Applicable law and jurisdiction. In everything related to the interpretation and compliance with the provisions herein, by the mere fact of accessing the SITE, the USERS agree to submit to the applicable laws and the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that by reason of their present or future addresses, or for any other reason that may apply to them.

Ineffective provisions

In the event that any of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS expressed herein is considered non-enforceable or is declared null or invalid in accordance with the applicable legislation, it will be replaced by a term or condition that is valid and that can more rigorously fulfill the objective of the unenforceable provision or that has been declared null or invalid. All other terms and conditions remain in full force.

Any right that has not been expressly conferred in this document is understood to be reserved to TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY.
