Antonio Martínez-Arboleda is Co-Director of the Center for Digital Education Research at the University of Leeds, in Great Britain, as well as Academic Leader of Open Educational Practices at that institution. As a full professor in the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, his teaching in Spanish language and politics led him to specialize in Open Educational Resources and digital learning. He has published numerous articles on critical digital pedagogies and practices. He is also an audiovisual poet and translator. As a cultural activist, his international university translation project La Crátera de Ártemis stands out.
