Marcela Morales is an Architect from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia. Tireless promoter of access to knowledge and a true believer in the power of education to transform lives, communities and societies around the world. It identifies educational training as a fundamental right that is generated and shared organically among all members of a community.  

As Director of Community Relations for Open Education Global, she encourages, supports, and promotes all areas of open education, including content development and sharing, teaching practices, and the use of open technologies.  With more than 20 years of experience in education, both in face-to-face and virtual contexts, he works closely with communities around the world seeking to engage in open dialogues that facilitate collaborative scenarios and foster collective awareness.   

It works closely with Latin American communities to raise awareness and share best open educational practices that facilitate access, equity, and opportunity in education.
