Guillermo Pech Torres is Master in Learning Technologies from the University of Guadalajara, and Chemist from the Autonomous University of Yucatán. His work focuses on the development of early scientific vocations, and the understanding of science supported by Multimedia Technology and tools such as programming, robotics and Augmented Reality. He has collaborated in Projects such as #FundamentosMaker #Mexicanas del Futuro, Ideatón Jalisco 2018, # R2T2 2018, RoboRave Ibérica 2018, Papirolas, Scratch Conference Bordeaux 2017.
He is currently Head of the Committee for Culture and Education in Maker Ecosystems for the LaTEMx Network, where he coordinates and participates in projects related to Technology Educational and promotion of XXI Century Competences and STEAM learning.
He teaches Science and Technology at different levels, currently Academic Coordinator. Technical Secondary School 157 “Severiano Casillas Ramirez”, in Zapopan, Jalisco.
